Jang, movie, 'You Pet Pet Screen to return to South


[이데일리 SPN 장서윤 기자] 배우 장근석이 영화 '너는 펫'의 주인공으로 스크린에 복귀한다.

6일 소속사 트리제이컴퍼니는 6일 장근석이 영화 '너는 펫'의 주인공 역에 캐스팅됐다고 밝혔다.

일본의 인기 만화인 '너는 펫'은 고학력·고수입의 베테랑 신문기자가 직장에서 좌천당하고 약혼자에게도 차인 후 '애완남'을 만나 사랑을 엮어가는 이야기를 그린 작품.

이 만화를 영화화한 작품에서 장근석은 클래식 발레 유망주에서 뮤지컬 배우와 안무가를 꿈꾸는 인물로 분해 여성들이 남자들에게 바라는 판타지의 다양한 모습을 선보일 예정이다.

장근석은 "항상 새로운 것을 찾아서 해보고 싶은 욕심이 있다"며 "차기작에서는 밝은 캐릭터를 연기해 보고 싶었는데 '너는 펫'이라는 작품을 받고 나서 나에게 굉장히 '잘 맞는 옷' 이라는 생각이 들었다"고 캐스팅 소감을 밝혔다.

한편, 이 작품은 올 하반기 국내 개봉을 목표로 제작 준비 중이다.
